Slender & attractive JAWO solid state electric ‘smooth heat release’ radiators have no moving or wearing parts. All JAWO electric radiators have an innovative heat retaining ‘thermal core’ that keeps them constantly warm, just like traditional ‘wet’ radiators in a conventional central heating system

No gas or oil boiler, pumps & plumbing to maintain. Electric heating elements embedded in slender ‘heat retaining’ thermal tablets, fully enclosed within the radiator body, mean your JAWO radiator evenly releases comfortable warmth into your room. As soon as the desired thermostat room temperature setting is reached JAWO electric radiators stop drawing power. However, the radiator remains constantly warm using the innovative ‘thermal core’, maintaining the important room convection current and continually recycling your existing room heat from ceiling height to floor level again to economically maintain your set room temperature

‘LCD’ Digital Heating Program Control

With the modern JAWO LCD Digital Control option you can choose a ‘comfort’ heating setting of around 20 – 21 degrees C for the exact period your rooms are occupied, and also a ‘set back’ lower ECO temperature of around 15 degrees C for the period your rooms are unoccupied, or at night time.

This way your heating uses only a small amount of energy overnight – and your living space does not cool down completely. Early in the morning, and in the evenings when returning home, have your controller set to return to ‘comfort’ and your rooms will be warm again very quickly

Jawo electric heating radiators are constructed for ‘non stop’ operation which does not influence their very long lifespan. During their operation the power supply is interupted many times an hour – even when continuously heating. The distribution of heat into your room is not affected by this due to the advanced ‘smooth heat release’ thermal core of Jawo radiators

Control options vary according to product
  • Wireless Control Panel Radiators – Fully programmable 7 day digital control. Radiators are registered on installation to a particular battery operated RFC Digital Remote controller, which is purchased separately. You can separate the rooms or floor levels, and control them differently. Of course you can use more RFC controllers to increase sensitivity of heating control. Each RFC controller can control either just one, or a group of radiators together for the same heating temperatures and timings. Additional RFC controllers are used to create separate ‘heating zones’, with different timing and temperature requirements – e.g. living areas and bedrooms. It is possible to program ‘COMFORT’ temperature times, and ‘ECO LOWER’ temperature timings on a day to day basis. These settings can also be overridden for short periods if required. A frost protection setting is available. If the power supply is interrupted the heating settings are retained and resumed by the battery operated RFC controller

For non standard heating zones that are used infrequently, such as meeting rooms and community areas, the optional EHCZC2 wireless touchstat (same price) can be specified to control the heaters instead of the Programmable Digital Control Panel. The alternative EHCZC2, when touched, brings the room temperature to a higher pre set temperature for a pre determined length of time. At the end of the time period the controller resumes the lower preset temperature. If you require the EHCZC2 option please contact us.

Why LCD Control ?
The integral Digital LCD Control reduces the energy consumption of the JAWO Radiator as it approaches the desired temperature, so the target temperature is not exceeded. Room heating is also fully programmable and accurately maintained, whilst minimising the energy used

Delivery Information

Independent ‘Water Filled’ Electric Radiators, Low Surface Temperature Electric Radiators and Wireless Panel Electric Radiators

Please allow our standard delivery time of  6 – 12 working days. Radiators are heavy items and can be easily damaged if not handled correctly. Consignments may be on a pallet, and are usually delivered using our own reliable transport arrangement. A pallet network delivery may be used occasionally, and delivery is then to kerbside at the delivery address. Delivery day and time is by mutual arrangement, and normally you will be contacted by telephone a few days before the delivery

The quoted standard delivery charge applies to most of the UK. Due to the additional carriage costs postcodes AB, IV, KW1-14, PA20 -49, PA60 – 78, PH17 – 26, PH30 – 44, PH49 – 50, Northern Ireland & all European deliveries are charged at extra cost. Please contact us with your requirement, and we will then obtain the best delivery charge quotation we can for your consignment

How do I work out my room size?

General Radiator Sizing Guidance – room m3 (Length x Width x Height in metres) x 0.045 = radiator kW. Example Room – 4.3 metres long x 4.2 metres wide x 2.4 metres high will require a 2.0 kW radiator.

Also take into account number of exterior walls, poor insulation / glazing and room aspect (North facing ?) which may require a higher heating output. If you do need any room sizing assistance please feel free to contact us.

Please allow at least 8 – 10 cm (skirting board height) at the bottom of all radiators to give adequate natural air convection around the room. Radiators are supplied with 1.5m fitted cable and standard plug.

Which Electric Radiator Models ?

Independent ‘Water Filled’ Electric Radiators

Premium ‘water filled’ electric heating radiators remain constantly warm in operation, even though they may not actually be using any power, avoiding the uneven hot / cold cycle of cheaply constructed radiators. They circulate convected and radiant warmth effectively around your rooms, performing just like the standard Gas or Oil Boiler fed’wet’ system commonly used in the UK, and can outperform crude flat panel oil & gel filled products. There are no ‘exposed to air’ heating elements, which can cause dry air and discomfort, especially in Bedrooms. As soon as the desired room temperature is reached the radiator stops drawing power. However, because the warm water in the core retains heat, the radiator still emits a constant and even warmth into your room area. The essential natural room convection current is efficiently maintained. This means that that your previously heated air, which rises towards the ceiling, is being continually drawn back down to floor level and recycled – saving you energy and money. Additional power is drawn in regular, controlled small amounts to top up the integral heat reserve, as the thermostat reacts to control the room temperature. All JAWO radiators have a clever integral heat retaining ‘thermal core’ that keeps them constantly warm when in operation – just like ‘wet’ radiators in a conventional central heating system

Integrated Fold Away Electronic Timer

The electronic timer offers a 7-day programme with 6 heating periods per day. The digital control panel has an easy-to-read display and four large control buttons with audible and tactile feedback. Features open window detection which recognises a sudden temperature drop when a window is opened and turns the heating off to save energy. Once the window is closed, the temperature change triggers the heating to resume its normal operation. 15-minutes Boost feature, 4 operating modes: Programme, Boost, Setback & Comfort, Comfort and setback temperatures, Maintains set temperature within 0.7 degrees

‘RFC’ Digital Control Versions

7 day, fully programmable ‘RFC’ version radiators, used together with the RFC digital programmer & thermostat control, means you can easily choose your ‘comfort’ setting temperature times of around 20 – 21 degrees C for the period your rooms are occupied, and also have an economical ‘set back’ lower ECO setting (e g 15 degrees C) for the period your rooms are unoccupied, when you are out, away at work, or for night times.
